Meetings are open to the public except for executive sessions, but is discouraged with the COVID-19 outbreak at this time.  Commissioners are following Federal guidelines of limiting the room to 10 persons.  Time is provided at 9:00 a.m. for public comment at regular meetings only.  Comments limited to two (2) minutes each.  Please contact the County Clerk’s office if you wish to place an item on the agenda.  Please contact the Clerk’s office 48 hours prior to any County meetings if there is any special assistance needed for people planning to attend the meeting. It is assumed these scheduled times are accurate, if not; the Commissioners will adjust the schedule as accurately as possible.

Re: Potential modification to the number of members who serve on the

Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission and/or their length of service

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Board of Commissioners at or after the hour of 9:15 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021, at the Madison County Commissioners’ Room, located at the Madison County Courthouse, 159 East Main, Rexburg, Idaho 83440, regarding potentially modifing the number of members who serve on the Madison County Planning and Zoning and/or their length of service. 

 

Currently, per Madison County Unified Development Code, Section 101-34, the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission consists of 12 members, who serve for a period of time between three and six years. 

 

At such hearing, the Madison County Board of  Commissioners will hear all persons for, against, and neutral to potentially modify the number of members who serve on the Madison County Planning and Zoning and/or their length of service.

 

This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of §§ 67-6509, 67-6511, Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof.

 

Written comment will be accepted in regards to this proposal no later than Thursday, February 18, at 4:30 p.m., at the Madison County Planning and Zoning Office, 134 E. Main, Suite 208, Rexburg, Idaho 83440.

 

The public is invited to attend, and public comment is encouraged.

REGARDING THE REQUEST ADOPT ORDINANCE NO. 437 AN AMENDMENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 366 TITLE 10 THE UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT CODE ARTICLE 101-II PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION SECTION 101-34,35.

 

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Board of Commissioners at or after the hour of 10:00 a.m. on Monday January 25, 2021 at the Madison County Commissioner Room, located at the Madison County Courthouse, 159 East Main, Rexburg, Idaho 83440, regarding the request to adopt Ordinance 437 amending Ordinance No. 366 Unified Development Code Article 101-II Planning and Zoning Commission Section 101-34,35. 

 

At such hearing, the Madison County Board of  Commissioners will hear all persons for, against, and neutral for the request to amend ordinance No. 366 Title 10 the Unified Development Code Article 101-II Planning and Zoning Commission Section 101-34,35.

 

Written comment will be accepted in regards to this proposal no later than Thursday January 21, at 4:30p.m., in the Madison County Planning and Zoning Office, Room 208, located at 134 East Main, Rexburg, Idaho 83440.
