NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

REGARDING A PRELIMINARY PLAT

FOR A PROPOSED COMMERCIAL BUSINESS PARK

 

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commissioners at or after the hour of 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2019, at the Madison County Commissioner Room, located at the Madison County Courthouse, 159 East Main, Rexburg, Idaho 83440, regarding the request to consider a preliminary plat proposed for the Silver Tip Business Park Division No. 1, owned by Bridger Bowen, as Applicant.

 

            This commercial business park is located at approximately 2803 West 3800 South, Rexburg, Idaho and consists 37.62 acres.  This hearing will be a preliminary plat hearing pursuant Madison County Subdivision Ordinance, § 115-31.  The legal description to this proposed commercial subdivision is as follows:

 

Lone Pine Division No. 1 Plat Boundary Description

 

Being a 26 Lot Subdivision located within the South West Corner of Section 11, Township 5 North, Range 39 East B.M., Madison County, Idaho, more particularly described as follows:

 

Commencing at a rebar with aluminum cap found marking the South West corner of Section 11;

 

Thence South 89°59'39" East, a distance of 1,323.76 feet to a 5/8" rebar with plastic cat set, marking the point of beginning;

 

Thence North 00°05'06" West, a distance of 1,330.45 feet to a 5/8" rebar with plastic cap set; thence South 89°56'18" East, a distance of 30.00 feet to a 5/8" rebar with plastic cap set; thence South 89°55'29" East, a distance of 1,294.85 feet to a 5/8" rebar with plastic cap set; thence South 00°02'17" East, a distance of 681.11 feet to a 5/8" rebar with plastic cap set; thence South 30°08'25" West, a distance of 748.96 feet to a 5/8" rebar with plastic cap set; thence North 89°59'39" West, a distance of 947.26 feet to a point; to the point of beginning. Containing 37.62 acres of land, more or less.

 

            The Applicants are proposing that they receive approval for the above described land to be subdivided for a commercial development, as defined in the Madison County Subdivision Ordinance, Chapter 115, et seq. 

                               

            At such hearing, the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commissioners will hear all persons for, against, and neutral for such preliminary plat for the proposed commercial business park. 

                                                                                                  

             Written comment will be accepted in regards to this proposal no later than Friday, June 21st, 2019, at 4:30 p.m., in the Madison County Planning and Zoning Office, Room 208, located at 134 East Main, Rexburg, Idaho 83440.

 

            This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of §§ 67-6509, 67-6511, Idaho Code, Madison County Code, and all amendments thereof.

 

The public is invited to attend, and public comment is encouraged.
