NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Re: Proposed Zone Change
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission at or after the hour of 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in the Madison County Commissioner Room, 159 E Main, Rexburg, Idaho, 83440, regarding the proposed Zone change from an Agriculture Zone to a Transitional Agriculture Zone on properties owned by Larry L. Hansen, located at approximately 3900 S 4413 W Rexburg Idaho, 83440. The properties are more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING AT A POINT 845 FEET SOUTH OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 5 NORTH, RANGE 39 EAST, BOISE MERIDIAN, MADISON COUNTY, IDAHO, AND RUNNING THENCE WEST 379 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 22 FEET; THENCE WEST 953 FEET TO THE WEST LINE OF SAID SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER; THENCE SOUTH 455 FEET; THENCE WEST 1320 FEET; THENCE SOUTH 330 FEET; THENCE EAST 1320 FEET; THENCE NORTH 113.5 FEET’ THENCE EAST 1330 FEET TO THE EAST LINE OF SECTION 15, TOWNSHIP AND RANGE AFORESAID, THENCE NORTH 693.5 FEET, MORE OR LESS, TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
COMMENCING AT A POINT 649.0 FEET WEST OF THE NE CORNER OF THE SE1/4, SE ¼, SECTION 9, T5N, R39E, B.M., AND RUNNING THENCE WEST 679.0 FEET, THENCE S. 0º 48’ W. 836.65 FEET, THENCE S 89º 27’ 51” E. 678.94 FT., THENCE N. 0º 48’ E 843.0 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.
The applicant and his representatives propose that the above parcels zone be changed, as defined in Madison County contained in the Madison County Code Book, Chapter 117, Article III, Section 117-60, and Part II, Chapter 102, Section 102-1, et seq., regarding factors to consider changing the zoning, from the parcels current zoning of Agriculture Zone to a Transitional Agriculture Zone.
At such hearing the Madison County Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons, comments, and recommendations relative to such proposed zone changes as set forth herein.
Written comments are strongly encouraged, as limited seating is available. Written correspondence will be accepted in regard to this proposal no later than Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 4:30 p.m. at the Madison County Planning and Zoning Office, 134 E. Main, Suite 208, Rexburg, Idaho, 83440.
